That one Sunday where every prompt failed in Portland, Oregon

Last month I spent 8 straight hours on a single image, tweaking prompts for a client brief about a rainy street scene. Midjourney v6 kept giving me umbrellas that looked like mushrooms, and DALL-E 3 turned every puddle into a mirror that caught the moon. Turns out the issue was my negative prompt, I had 'no people' and 'no reflections' fighting each other. Has anyone else hit a weird prompt conflict where two conditions just cancel out?

Honestly sounds like you were overthinking it. Those two negatives clash for sure, but the real fix is just simplifying down to one clear direction and letting the model breathe. Sometimes the prompt is the problem, not the tool.
