But have we given it enough time to actually learn? These systems need months of data to see the whole picture, not just a couple weeks of weird traffic. Maybe the jams are just growing pains while it figures out our specific patterns. Human planners made a mess of this for years, so why not let the algorithm try to sort it out? Seems like we're quick to blame the new thing without letting it prove itself.

@loganc42 is right that we need to let the algorithm gather more data before judging it. These systems get better the more they see, and a couple weeks of weird traffic doesn't show the full picture. Human planners had years to figure it out and still caused jams, so a little patience for the new system makes sense. Jumping to blame it now could mean we go back to the old broken ways. Giving it real time to learn might finally solve problems we've dealt with for ages.

What if the ai is just copying our old bad traffic data? How do we know it won't keep making the same mistakes without some human help?
