Bought a cheap torque wrench from Harbor Freight for a flap motor job, it was off by 15 foot pounds on the high end. Cost me a whole afternoon of rework.

Man, that reminds me of my buddy who tried to save money on a cheap jack stand. Thing slowly sank while he was under his truck, scared him half to death. Makes you think about what Simon's28 said about them being a headache, but honestly it's way past that lol. Some of that bargain stuff is just asking for trouble.

Ever wonder if those cheap tools are worth the headache?

Bro my neighbor bought a bargain bin drill that caught fire in his drywall. The chuck literally flew off and put a hole in his cabinet. Cheap tools are a safety hazard, not just a headache.
