Tried a bidet attachment for 60 days then went back to paper

Ordered one of those $35 attachments off Amazon after my brother wouldn't shut up about it. First week was weird, like standing in a car wash for your butt. By day 30 I felt cleaner and used way less toilet paper. But then winter hit and that cold water was a real shock at 6am. I gave it a full 60 days to be fair about it. Ended up taking it off after a plumber friend said the cheap valve could crack if it froze. Now I'm back to regular rolls and honestly fine with it. Anyone else try one and bail, or did you stick with it enough to justify the upgrade?
