Am I the only one who finds more stuff in my old astro shots after stacking them again a year later?

I shot the Orion Nebula from my backyard in Phoenix back in January and thought I squeezed everything out of those 40 subs, but running them through the stacker again with different settings pulled out faint dust I missed the first time. Just because you processed an image once does not mean it is finished. Has anyone else gone back to old data and found details that were hiding in there?
