My grandma's 'bring a backup plan' advice saved a whole disaster in Seattle
She told me to keep a spare activity idea in my pocket before a blind date, and when the sushi spot we picked closed for a private event, having that backup bowling alley turned a 45 minute awkward silence into something we both still joke about, so has anyone else gotten family advice that actually worked out?
