I skipped a $12 matinee of the new Point Break remake and my buddy dragged me anyway, now I owe him an apology
My buddy paid for my ticket to the Point Break remake at a theater in Fresno on a Tuesday, and I went in ready to hate it since the 1991 one is perfect. About 40 minutes in I stopped comparing it to the original and just watched the stunts, and the wing suit stuff actually got me. I realized my whole rant was just nostalgia talking, not the movie being bad. Has anyone else gone into a remake mad and walked out kind of liking it?
