Ngl I was skeptical about the 2019 Pet Sematary remake but it actually made me appreciate the original more

The 2019 version actually fixed the original's biggest problem with that truck ending. That rushed final act in the 1989 one just felt lazy and unearned compared to the remake's slower burn.

Ngl I gotta hard disagree here. The pacing in the 2019 was way too slow and the truck scene lost all its punch because they dragged it out so long. The original's ending hit you fast and hard like a gut punch, that sudden chaos felt way more real to me. Plus the 1989 version had that raw 80s grit that the clean remake just can't match, you know what I mean?
