Unpopular opinion: I used to defend the Total Recall remake, then a guy at a truck stop in Amarillo set me straight
He asked me one thing: did I remember any single scene from it a week later? I couldn't name one, and now I can't stop noticing how the remake just copies the 1990 beats without any of the weird Martian stuff that made the original stick. Has anyone else had a remake they liked until someone asked them to actually describe it?
