Dropped $60 on a custom dog tag with my cat's "full name" on it, and the vet's office laughed at me

I named my orange tabby Kevin Bacon, so I paid a guy on Etsy sixty bucks to engrave "Kevin Bacon" on a brass tag with a little bacon strip next to it. Turns out the microchip paperwork still says "Kitty" from the shelter, so now the front desk at my vet in Boise calls him Kitty while I stand there yelling Kevin. Anyone else give a pet a joke name and get stuck with a totally different one on the official forms?
