The guy running the register at a video store in Portland changed my mind about subtitles
I used to say I would never watch a show with subtitles because I always look at my phone anyway. Then I heard him tell a customer that he rewatched all of Squid Game with subs and caught stuff he totally missed the first time, so I tried it on a Korean thriller and got hooked in one night. Now I keep the subs on for everything, even English shows, and I am wondering if anyone else does this or if I am just weird.
