Burned through 40 pounds of coal in 3 days because my forge blower pulley went bad
The pulley on my hand crank blower cracked on a Tuesday morning and I didn't notice until I had already wasted half a bag of coal trying to get a welding heat on a set of tongs. I swapped in an old blower I had sitting in the corner and got back to work, but losing that time on a custom order for a guy in Bend set me back almost a full week. How do you all keep a spare blower or backup air supply ready without having two of everything cluttering up the shop?
