Shoutout to the guy who told me to try a different quench oil
I was getting soft spots on my 1084 steel blades for about two years, no matter how careful I was with the heat. Switched from the cheap stuff to Parks 50 last month and the difference is night and day, every piece comes out hard and even. Anyone have a good source for it that doesn't cost an arm and a leg?
