Finally finished that 6000 piece puzzle on my lunch breaks, took 4 months but it feels huge
I work at a call center downtown, so my only real downtime is those 30 minute lunches in the break room. Last January someone left a boxed London skyline puzzle on the share table, and I figured why not. I did a small corner every day, sometimes just 10 pieces if I was eating fast. Yesterday I snapped in the last piece, a little red bus, and my coworker Dave actually clapped. Has anyone else done a long term project like that in tiny time chunks? It felt way more satisfying than binging a whole show in one go.
Honestly a 4 month puzzle sounds like a slog, not a win. 30 minutes a day where you could actually rest or talk to people and instead you're hunched over tiny cardboard pieces? Dave clapping was probably just happy the table was free again.
