Hit 500 hours of podcasts on my commute and I actually know my city now
I drive 90 minutes each way from Katy into Houston for work, and last Friday my podcast app hit 500 hours played since January. Sounds sad but it got me through sitting in that same traffic on I-10 five days a week without losing my mind. Somewhere around hour 300 I stopped just playing true crime and started mixing in local history shows, and now I can point out where old rail lines ran when I pass certain exits. Has anyone else burned through a crazy amount of listening time stuck in a car, and what got you through it?
