My grocery bill dropped from $180 to $94 in one month and I almost didn't believe the receipt
I started meal prepping rice and beans every Sunday back in March because money got tight after my truck needed new brakes. I kept a little notebook with every grocery trip and at the end of the month I added it all up and just stared at the number. Went from spending around $180 a month on food down to $94, mostly by cutting out the grab and go stuff at the gas station near work. The weird part is I wasn't even hungry, I was eating better than before honestly. Beans, rice, frozen veggies, eggs, and a big bag of chicken thighs did most of the heavy lifting. Anyone else track their food spending like this, and what was the one swap that saved you the most money?
