Vent: spent 3 hours trying to book a hostel in Prague that actually had lockers big enough for a laptop

Every budget place I found had those tiny locker boxes that barely fit a tablet, and the front desk at three different hostels straight up lied about it. Has anyone else run into this or am I just cursed with too much tech gear?

Oh man, I gotta push back on this one. Honestly, I think you're overthinking the whole locker thing. Hostels are about meeting people and sleeping, not storing a bunch of expensive gear. If you're that worried about your laptop, just keep it on you or lock it in your daypack. Those little lockers are fine for a wallet and phone, which is all most people need. Prague is pretty safe anyway, and I've left my stuff out plenty of times with no issues. Maybe try downsizing your tech instead of blaming the hostels.

Omg yes @patricia317 totally agree! Left my laptop in a Prague dorm once, no issues at all.
