I signed my shop up for fiber failover last week and the failover kicked in during a card payment
We run cards through a terminal that needs a live connection or it drops the sale. Last Thursday around 2pm the cable line in our area of Columbus went down for about 40 minutes, and I had set up a cheap LTE backup router the week before. It switched over in under 10 seconds and we kept ringing people up the whole time. My old DSL backup used to take a minute or more and half the time it just never connected. What are you all using for failover that actually holds during a busy Saturday?
