Vent: I spent $60 on a plastic drawer organizer and a $4 shoe box did the same job
I know this sounds like a small thing but I am still mad about it. Last month I finally got fed up with my bathroom counter looking like a tornado hit it, so I went to Target and dropped $60 on one of those stacked acrylic drawer sets with the little dividers. Got it home, spent 40 minutes putting it together, and it barely fit my stuff. The drawers were too shallow for my razor and the dividers were sized for paper clips, not bobby pins and hair ties. Then my sister came over and said her trick is just a clear shoe box from the dollar store with a few old sunglass cases inside as dividers. I tried it the next day. Total cost was $4 and it holds way more. I feel like such a sucker. Has anyone else bought the fancy version of something and then found out the cheap hack worked better?
