Watched a guy at the woodworking show in Charlotte fit a 3/4 inch drawer front with a $12 block plane
I was at the show in Charlotte two months back and this old fella had a block plane and a bit of candle wax, that was it. He got the gap tighter than my router jig ever does, and now I wax every plane sole in my box before a fit. Anybody else ditch the jig after seeing something like that?
