So I was reading this old cafe supply catalog from the 80s and the price of a basic espresso machine blew my mind

It was listed at $1,200, which is like $4,500 today, and I found it in a box of stuff from a closed cafe in Echo Park. Does anyone have old menus or receipts that show how much simpler the gear used to be?
