Hot take: A brand asked me to leave out a major flaw in my camp stove review

They sent me their new model to test out before it hit the shelves. During a rainy weekend trip, the ignition switch got wet and stopped working completely. I'm stuck between telling the truth and possibly losing future free gear. Have you ever been in a spot like this with a review?

That exact thing happened to my buddy's stove in a Colorado rainstorm. A bit of moisture in the switch seems like a pretty easy field fix with a lighter or a flint stick. I'd probably still mention it in the review but frame it as a minor hassle, not a deal breaker.

That new camp stove's rainproof feature is apparently just a suggestion.

My tent flooded last July, @the_jade.
