My rule for piling on changed after a 2 hour fight at a Toledo BBQ
Two summers back, a guy I have known since middle school got dragged online for a joke he posted, and I jumped in with about 15 comments piling on before I even read the full context. These days, I wait at least a day and read the whole thread before I say anything, because what he actually wrote was a quote from a movie and people had stripped the words around it. I found that out at a backyard BBQ in Toledo when his brother showed me the screenshots and I felt like a total idiot. Now I ask one question first: is this the full thing or just a clip? Has anyone else changed how fast they react to a pile on, or am I just late to figuring this out?
