Three years of callout threads later, I finally got a real apology
Back in 2021 a local artist in Austin shared screenshots of me for a dumb comment I made about their show, and it exploded to like 2k replies calling me out. Last week they messaged me out of nowhere saying they went too far and deleted the thread, so I guess sometimes the process does work. Has anyone else gotten a cooler head from the other side after all this time?
2k replies over a comment about a show? That seems like a lot for something so small. People get worked up online over nothing and then act like it's this huge life event. A person said sorry and deleted a post, that's just normal stuff, not some big win for the "process." Sounds less like a real apology and more like they got bored or felt bad for a minute. I wouldn't read too much into it either way.
