My old neighbor showed me how his show got brought back after 12 years
I was talking to this older guy Mr. Henderson at the bus stop last Saturday. He told me he used to be a writer on this show called 'The Frontier' that got canceled back in 2008 after just one season. He said the show had this weird cult following on some obscure streaming site nobody really knew about. Then out of nowhere last year, enough people signed some online petition that the studio actually noticed and ordered a second season. He showed me the before and after ratings on his phone - the first season averaged like 400,000 viewers per episode and the new season got over 2 million. What really blew my mind was he said the secret was all these fans making memes on TikTok about one random character. Has anyone else seen a show get rescued like that?

Wait, is this the same 'The Frontier' that had that weird episode about the talking raccoon? I remember stumbling on that show back in college when I was sick and couldn't find anything else to watch. Honestly it's kinda wild that a show nobody watched can come back and actually do numbers like that. I feel like most of us are just out here making dumb memes about random things nobody cares about, but sometimes it actually works out. Shows how much influence people can have when they really get behind something, even if it's just for one weird character. My own luck with getting things revived is basically zero, like that time I tried to get my local pizza place to bring back their spicy ranch - didn't work at all.

Oh come on, @sage_dixon, the raccoon episode was the best one they ever did. If a show can't come back on its own merit without relying on nostalgia for some fever dream you had while sick, maybe it should just stay cancelled.
