Hot take: I ditch the square for a chalk line on every cabinet install
Tbh, I stopped using a framing square for face frames after 12 years and now I snap everything with a chalk line. Did a full kitchen in Austin last month, zero gaps on the doors, and it cut my layout time in half. Anyone else trust a string over a square when the walls are way out of plumb?
