Hot take: I stopped eating cereal with milk and now I judge everyone who still does
For 12 years I poured milk over my Frosted Flakes like a normal person, but after a bowl turned into a sad soggy mess at my desk in Tucson last month, I switched to eating it dry with a spoon and a glass of milk on the side. My roommate says that's just a deconstructed breakfast and totally misses the point, but I think it proves cereal was never soup at all. Soup doesn't get ruined by its own broth sitting there for 3 minutes, so if milk is what makes it soup, why does milk also destroy it? Anyone else eat it dry or am I the weird one here?
