I thought my handwriting was just bad until my sister showed me her notebook from 3rd grade
Turns out my 2nd grade teacher in Bakersfield told my parents I just needed to try harder and nobody ever checked if I was forming letters wrong, so I spent 22 years writing like that until my sister pointed out I was starting every letter from the bottom, and now I'm wondering if anyone else had a teacher who just let them keep doing it wrong?

Wait, so did your sister have the same teacher and end up fine? I'm curious if the teacher actually knew what she was doing or was just clueless across the board.
