I went back to my old notebook system for tracking money after Mint shut down and honestly it stung a little. For 4 months I tried two different apps and none of them did the one thing I actually needed, which was show me what I had left to spend without 6 taps. My old paper sheet had rent, food, gas, and fun money, that was it, and I knew where I stood just by looking at it. Last Tuesday I pulled the 2019 notebook out of a drawer and filled in a fresh page in about 4 minutes. The apps send me alerts I ignore and charts I never read, so I'm paying for noise. Does anyone here actually stick with an app long term, or did you all go back to paper like me?
