Cellulose dust kept eating my filters until I tried the shop vac trick
I do mostly retrofit insulation removals in older homes around Lancaster, and my truck vac was clogging every 2 hours. A guy I met at the supply house told me to run a 5 gallon bucket with holes in the lid between the hose and the vac, so the big chunks drop out before they hit the filter. Tried it on a 3 story job last week and went the whole day without changing the bag. Anyone else rig up a simple separator like that, or do you just eat the filter cost?
