Just hit my 1000th chimney sweep and I'm not sure the job is getting easier

1000 chimneys and it's not getting easier? Man, that's kind of like how I feel about folding laundry. You think after the 500th load you'd be a pro but nope, the socks still don't match up and I still end up with wrinkles in the weirdest places. Maybe with chimneys it's like that, where the 1001st one will be the one that finally kicks your butt in a new way. I bet you've probably left a soot fingerprint on your own forehead without realizing it more times than you can count.

Oh man, the forehead soot fingerprint is too real. I swear every chimney sweep I've ever seen looks like they tried to blend in with a chimney by rubbing their face on it. But honestly, laundry is the real villain here. I've been folding socks for like, a decade now and last week I still put a pair away that were clearly from two different packs. You'd think the 1000th load would teach you something but nope, the universe just laughs and gives you a towel that somehow folds itself into a triangle no matter what you do.
