My neighbor's compost bin got knocked over by a bear in Gatlinburg and now we have a weekly 'bear watch' group text
Last month my neighbor in Gatlinburg put her compost bin out a day early because she was going out of town, and a black bear flipped the whole thing over on her driveway around 2am. Now six of us on the street take turns texting the group when we see tracks or scat, and honestly it's made me way more careful about what I put in my own bin. Does anyone else in bear country have a system for this, or are we just being extra?
