Back in my day, we learned loops from a printed guide

In my experience, coding tutorials used to be straight forward with clear steps and examples. Now, I get overwhelmed by all the interactive platforms that try to do too much at once. Your mileage may vary, but I think starting simple helps build a better base.

Honestly, those old printed guides were often dry and hard to follow without any real practice. Interactive platforms let you code right away and see results instantly, which sticks better in your mind. For example, trying out loops in a browser-based editor makes the concept click faster than just reading about them. Sure, some sites have too many bells and whistles, but that's better than staring at static text. Getting hands-on from the start builds a much stronger understanding because you're doing, not just reading. The immediate feedback from these tools fixes mistakes before they become bad habits.

Instant feedback can still let bad habits slip through.
