GC asked me to redo punch list work and called my crew lazy, then I checked his print

Over at a build-out in Jersey City last spring, this GC kept pushing us to fix door frames that were already square. He pointed at one and said "my client won't accept that gap," but his own drawings showed a 1/4 inch reveal. I pulled out the roll, showed him the mark, and he just walked away without a word. Anyone else had a GC blame your work only to realize their own specs were off?

I started photocopying the relevant print and handing it to them before I even picked up a tool, that stopped most of the blame game before it started. Once they see their own mark, they usually shut up real quick.
