Spent 6 weeks on a punch list item that should've taken a day
A storefront in Seattle had a door that kept binding at the bottom, and I chased the threshold, hinges, and frame for weeks before noticing the concrete slab had settled a half inch on one side. The fix was grinding down the slab, but only after I'd already billed the client for two re-fits. Anyone else ever burn that much time on something obvious staring you in the face?
