Question about a client who refused a simple fix

Had a guy in Tampa insist his laptop was 'too slow' and needed a new one, but he got mad when I told him the real issue was the 47 browser tabs he always kept open. Has anyone else had a client fight you on something that basic?

Just closed the tabs for him (he got the point).

But is that actually a problem? Some people just work that way, keeping a bunch of tabs open as their system. Maybe his computer was old too.
