Ran across a stat that said 90% of boot issues are actually RAM, not drives. Had to double check that one.

Did you ever just stare at your computer for 45 minutes before realizing the RAM clip wasn't all the way down? Yeah, guilty as charged.

45 minutes staring at a computer is just life at this point, honestly. But is it really that deep? A RAM clip is like a stubborn zipper, you just push harder and it clicks. I've definitely had the thing where I thought I broke my whole PC and it was just a loose stick, but I wouldn't call it a crisis. Unless you're building a server for a healthcare system or something, it's probably fine. People act like a minor hardware hiccup is the end of the world, but usually it's just a five second fix you overthink.

Honestly I had this exact same thing happen last month. Put in a new drive, spent two hours troubleshooting why it wouldn't boot, then realized I just didn't seat one stick of RAM right. Felt like a total clown. Ngl my first thought is always "dead drive" but the stat makes sense.
