TIL my Genesis was never the problem, it was the 13 inch TV in my dad's garage
Spent all of 1994 blaming my Genesis for the blurry mess on screen, then last month at a retro meet in Dayton a guy plugged my same console into a proper CRT and the picture looked like a painting. Turns out composite on a 13 inch set with a bad tuner was hiding everything. Anyone else find out their childhood "console war" was really just a fight with their parents' furniture?
