Why does everyone skip the Saturn when ranking 32-bit consoles?
I spent last weekend playing Nights into Dreams on my Saturn at a friend's house in Austin and it handled 3D better than my PlayStation did on the same TV, so when did people start pretending the Saturn doesn't exist in these arguments, has anyone else noticed that?
How did the Saturn get turned into the punchline of that whole console gen? I feel you on this. Nights looked smooth and colorful, and stuff like Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Virtua Fighter 2 ran great once you got used to the controller. The PS1 had the bigger library, sure, but people act like the Saturn had nothing, which is just not true. Sega messed up the launch and the price here in the States, and I get why that hurt it. Still bugs me that a few bad business calls made everyone memory-hole a console that could clearly hang.
