A friend told me to stop posting daily and focus on one big video a month.
I did that for two months and my views dropped by half, which was a real gut punch. They said it would make my channel look more 'premium', but the algorithm just forgot about me. Has anyone else had a plan backfire this badly?

More premium" just means the algorithm puts you in the fancy bin where no one looks. Classic advice backfire.

Exactly, it's like the algorithm's version of a museum display case. You get put behind glass where it looks nice but nobody actually engages. Saw a local bakery do this, their posts got super polished and the likes just died. They're paying to be ignored by the very people they want to reach. The advice to look "professional" can totally backfire by making you seem distant.
