My bathroom recording session was a wake-up call for audio quality

Ever hear that weird echo in some videos? My friend recorded a cooking tutorial in her kitchen last month, and the fridge motor kept kicking on. You'd hear this low hum right as she explained each step. Then her upstairs neighbor started vacuuming, and the whole thing sounded like she was filming in a laundry mat. She had to scrap the audio and start over, it was that bad. What's the most annoying background noise you've dealt with?

Sounds like your friend's tutorial had built-in ambiance, @young.mia.

Oh man, that's the worst! It's like appliances have a sixth sense for when you hit record. My neighbor's leaf blower has ruined more takes than I can count.
