A color client at my salon in Boise asked me to stop calling her grays "silver" and it stuck
She was in my chair about 3 months ago and flat out told me "I am 58, not a Pinterest board, just say gray." I had been using soft words like silver and sparkle for years and never thought about how it might come off as dodging the truth. Now I just say gray, and honestly my older clients seem to relax more, has anyone else noticed that direct wording lands better than the pretty stuff?
