Biometric login on my laptop, I laughed at it for 2 years then a crash changed my mind

I used to think fingerprints were gimmicky until my password manager got hacked in a breach last March and I had to reset 40 accounts in one night. A coworker in Denver told me to just use Windows Hello since my work laptop already had the sensor sitting there. Has anyone else switched after a similar scare, or do you still trust long passwords more?

Remember resetting 40 accounts proves passwords work, not that they failed.
