Warning: my old IT guy said reusing passwords was fine if they were all different sites
Back in 2019 the IT guy at my last job in Tampa told me reusing one strong password across sites was fine since each site was different. Last month someone got into my email and then my bank because I used that same password on a forum I signed up for in 2016, and it cost me about $400 in overdraft fees before I caught it. Is it worth switching to a password manager now, and which one actually works for someone who is not tech savvy?
