Waited 11 weeks for a simple zoning answer, got a form letter back
I'm working on a small flex space near the 38th and Blake area, and I had a basic question about what counts as a loading dock for our use permit. Called the city permit desk in April, they said 2-3 weeks. Eleven weeks later I finally got an email that just linked to a PDF from 2019 that doesn't even mention loading docks. Called again, the person basically told me I should have hired a zoning attorney for a $1,200 question. Has anyone else found a faster way to get clarification out of Denver's planning department, or is this just how it works now?
