Hot take: Bad hotel Wi-Fi back in the day kept me on task
I mean, when I first traveled and worked, internet was super hit or miss in cheap places. It meant I had to get all my online stuff done in one go when it worked. These days, with perfect Wi-Fi everywhere, I just end up browsing or watching videos instead of working. Idk, maybe having to rush actually made me better at getting things done.

Totally! I remember sitting on the floor by the door in some motel, hitting refresh over and over. The second those two bars showed up, it was a mad dash to download reports and send all my emails before it dropped. It was kinda tiring, but man, the relief when everything finally went through. Now I just get a good connection and end up wasting an hour browsing instead.
