My pressure washer hose burst after 3 minutes of use last Sunday
Bought a cheap $30 hose from the hardware store on clearance and it blew a pinhole right near the handle, has anyone else had luck with those braided rubber replacements instead?

The 3/8" hose from my local hardware store lasted maybe two full uses before it split at the crimp. Tried one of those braided rubber ones from Amazon, the green 50-footer. It's been about 8 months now and still holding up fine, even with hot water from my gas washer. Only issue was the fittings were a little loose, so I had to wrap the threads with Teflon tape.

Honestly it's always the cheap fix that costs you more in the long run.

Oh man, I gotta disagree a bit here. Sometimes the cheap fix is the right call if you know what you're working with and it's a simple job. Not everything needs the premium solution, especially if you're just trying to get by for a season or two.
