Always skipped primer on drywall... until this patch job showed me why it matters.
A thin coat of primer made the new mud blend in perfectly.

Have you ever skipped primer and then your makeup just didn't last? I used to do that all the time until my face would get oily and everything faded fast. What worked for me was finding a light primer that doesn't feel heavy. Now I never skip it because my makeup stays put all day! It's one of those things you don't miss until you try it and see the difference.

But let's be real, is primer actually THAT important? I've forgotten it plenty of times and my makeup still held up just fine. People act like it's a crime to skip, but it's really not that deep.
