A client in Denver told me my title blocks were 'cluttered' and it completely changed my approach.

Got a similar note once about a project schedule looking like a bowl of spaghetti. Started using way more white space and color coding, which felt dumb at first but clients loved it.

Notice how often the "dumb" fix is just making things easier to look at. People act like they want complex tools, but they really just want to see the story clearly. A clean chart beats a smart messy one every time.

Oh man, that hits home. I used to cram every single spec into my drawings, like I was getting graded on data density. A contractor finally said it looked like a busy spreadsheet, not a plan. I mean, @lucaslee is right about the spaghetti thing. I started just putting the key info for each trade on their own page, with huge clear labels. It felt almost too simple, but man, the callbacks for questions just stopped.
