Lost a cutterhead to a buried tire near New Orleans last month
Was working a job on the Mississippi River, clearing a channel near a bridge pier. Hit something hard, thought it was rock. Nope. Old tire wrapped around the cutterhead. Took 4 hours to cut it off. Now I always run the sonar slower when approaching bridge abutments. Anyone else deal with hidden debris like that?
